"These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ."
- Col 2:17
This is one of the most fascinating things. Jesus also said it in John 5:39. The OT is so intense. It talks about our Lord in such detail. But stays only a shadow, until we accept the reality: Christ and become alive in Him.
Our life will only be a shadow on earth (Job 8:9) without Christ, a plastic life; a life that's so empty, insecure and lifeless that can only be described as such: a shadow without hope (1 Chr 29:15).
My shadow met Life on his journey and became alive.
The Law met Jesus and became alive with Christ in every single one of us.

Nehemiah 9:5-6

“Stand up and bless the LORD your God Forever and ever!

“ Blessed be Your glorious name,

Which is exalted above all blessing and praise!
You alone are the LORD;

You have made heaven,

The heaven of heavens, with all their host,

The earth and everything on it,

The seas and all that is in them,

And You preserve them all.

The host of heaven worships You.
