Inside me

Alive inside me is my soul like a child
Barely can talk, barely can move, barely can smile
In your presence oh Lord, its smile blossoms
In your presence oh Lord, I am lifted
In the shell deep within under the thick skin of my flesh
Resides my soul like a pearl waiting to shine once exposed to the sun
Your light is my oxygen, your spirit my blood
My father up in heaven I owe you my life.
I give it thankfully for the honor of victory
For the grace and heavenly honor to worship you
To live in you as you in me
Giver of sight, ears and might
Giver of life, light and height
All that I need and all that I have is your love my Lord
I give you my all as I surrender my soul
